The blue power LED on my 2209WA started flickering in less than a month and died. Click here to read my short review about this otherwise good panel.

call up dell immediately and you will have a 24 incher within 24 hours!!

you don't need the bill or any warranty papers. call up their 1800 toll free number--look it up in dell website and have your system service tag number ready.also tell them there are a few dead pixels --no one would check -- and the next day a blue dart guy would come and take it away and give you a new 24inch lcd (for free)

Why would they give a 24" replacement for a 22". To appease him, or are the 22" out of stock.

I did not want to go for an RMA, for a power LED problem.

Check the following link

U2410 : flickering power button LED - DELL COMMUNITY

This is a similar problem reported with a U2410, which also has a similar power button with LED back light.

After a month you get a refurbished panel as replacement. I am not ready to take the risk. As I already mentioned except for the LED problem everything else is fine. Looks like cost cutting and bad quality control.

I don't think they will replace with U2410. It will be replaced with the same model (most probably refurbished).
