Thanks guys checked it on my friends laptop via hdmi it worked, finally installed drivers on my system and it works now a need a good hdmi cable any suggestions bluerigger is available on flipkart for 599/- locally getting honeywell for 800./- and mx for 350/- m confused now

Nope. 95% videos are 60 Hertz, so no. Yeah, if you game or scroll a lot on webpages, it will feel more fluid, but real world is a big no unless the content you are watching supports that many frames. I use a LG TV - 48 inch OLED, its a 4K 120 Hertz.ordered one shared by @psyph3r
Guys do i need a gpu to achieve 120 hz currently it is on 60 hz by default not playing games but will 120 hz work in normal scenarios like watching downloaded 4k videos or for youtube ?
