Reason for Sale
Upgrade
Selling my wife's old laptop. 6-7 years old
Battery backup - Nil. Randomly goes off if the battery is plugged in, but works perfectly when it's not but has the charger in.
Some minor specs of dust on the screen. 1 small spot of discoloration. (circled in blue)

Processor is an i5 M450 2.3Ghz
Have done a fresh installation of Win 10 on it. It run Win 10 respectably all things considered, but we have been spoilt by NVME SSDs! I reckon a cheap SSD would make this laptop snappy again.
I've asked shop keepers in my area what old laptops like this cost and put the number. It includes shipping, Open to discussion.

Hey,since you are looking to upgrade. Look into the exchange programs on amazon, I think you might get roughly around 10k for your laptop on exchange. Only saying it since I am considering doing it myself.

Thanks for your reply, mate. Sadly, I've already bought a new laptop.

As OP has stated open to discussion. This laptop is a 10-11 year old model. It is a first gen i5. The ram can be upgraded easily to 8gb (maybe even 16gb) ddr 3 1333mhz by opening the back panel. Hdd upgrade is also doable but will have to go deeper and remove the keyboard and palm rest. The dvd drive can also be replaced by a 9.5mm sata caddy to use an extra hdd/ssd. The CMOS battery (connected by 2pin pigtail) is probably dead. To replace it, will have to take the motherboard out, flip it, can also reapply thermal then.

This is just to inform and no intention to price police or crap OP's thread. GLWS.
