Laptops DELL from US, Need Help !!

My friend is planning for a dell laptop to be brought from USA.
Need few clarifications on the same.

Budget - INR 50K Max.
Processor - Core2 duo T5600
RAM - 1GB 533MHz. There is no option for 667MHz in the DELL US store site??
Screen - 15.4" ultrasharp with true life
Battery - 9-cell. How much back up would be there in case a movie is played ?
Graphics - ATI mobility 256MB X1400. What could be a better option for the same budget

Noobish Question - Are there any walkin dell stores in US. If so, will there be discounts today and tom for thanksgiving. Are laptops cheaper if bought in stores ?
 
T5600 is what is written in the DELL site ... when i tried configuring...
Cant we get i year international warranty ??? How much would it cost ?

Plz reply regarding the GFX card and other technical things !!!
 
Since you need a 15.4" screen, the E1505 would be the best option.

For International warranty you need to purchase 3 years onsite contract.
 
Is the ATI X1400 better than GMA950 ??? and also Vs Go7400 ??
And which warranty to prefer ?? Iam really confused ... !!!
And between T5500 and T5600 ?

Also i want a 1GB with 667MHz which is not displayed in US site but it is available in Indian Site !?!?!?
 
The 1GB 667Mhz is available for the 6400, surprising its not shown in the US website. You should ask your friend in the US to call the sales department and ask them about it.

The T5600 is 1.83Ghz while the T5500 runs at 1.66Ghz, a slight performance increase for the T5600.

For availing International warranty, you would have to purchase a 3 years On-site plan.

The current warranty plans are:

1 Year On-site Economy Plan
1 Year On-Site Business Mobility Plan
1 Year Mail-in Economy Plan
3 Year On-site Economy Plan
3 Yr On-site Mobility Plan with complete care.
4 Year On-site Business Mobility Plan

System Service Options

Complete care covers any accidental damage to the computer including water spillage.
