Hi,
Am trying to decide between the Dell Inspiron 14R/1464 and the HP Pavilion DV4-2112TU laptops but am unable to find much info on the net about these.

Does anyone know how these hold up against heating issues, battery life and any other factors?

Appreciate any help with this.

I will suggest you to go with Dell inspiron as dell's service is unmatched in india and you can go for complete cover which even covers accidental damage, and also HP pavillions are known for their heating issues,so will advise you to stay away from it.
