Hi guys,
My mom's been thinking of getting herself a laptop and we've narrowed down on the New Dell Inspiron 15 notebook. These are the first notebooks that run on the Core i3 processors and the reviews on these new processors suggest that they are worth the generation upgrade in terms of performance and pricing. The Dell India website quotes a price of Rs.31,900/- which includes taxes but excludes delivery charges.

Does anyone how much Dell charges for shipping?

The Specs:
Intel Core i3-330M (2.13Ghz)
Windows® 7 Home Basic 64bit
2GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM
250GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
15.6†High Definition 720p WLED (1366x768) Display
Intel HD Graphics
Wireless B/G card
8x DVD Writer
48 WHr 6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery
Integrated 1.3 mega pixel webcam
Dell Wireless 365 2.1 Bluetooth Adapter

Are they any other alternatives from HP, Toshiba, IBM?

If so then please suggest a few.

Thanks :)

What is your budget??

If you are looking something around for 30k I think you have made best choise. Stick with with.

If you can slightly up your budget look at the models having Core i3 processors with ATI Graphics solutions.
