Hi,

This one comes with an integrated graphics card, i wanted to know if any off you could let me know if this card is decent enough for playing games?

Is it also possible to put in a graphic card, it says 1 ExpressCard Slot, (DOES NOT SUPPORT PCMCIA CARDS)

What exactly does that mean? Thank you!

Regards,
Clyde

what integrated GFX?

Since the 1501 is Turion based, I'd guess it is X200M which even though is better by leaps and bounds over Intel GMA950, it isn't exactly a gaming card....

But if you are very keen, it'll still let you run games like HL2 at 800X600 or lower with reduced details and of course no AA

The second part,

Is it also possible to put in a graphic card, it says 1 ExpressCard Slot, (DOES NOT SUPPORT PCMCIA CARDS)

The Answer is NO

Express card is just a replacement standard for PCMCIA

if you have the option of going with Core 2 Duo i would say opt it.

The laptop you mentioned is not so good specially if you are looking to handle gaming on it.

Thanks.

apparently the 1150 is a little better than the x200

As for the Turion, it's a very capable processor though not really in the same league as the Core Duo/2Duo

def. 6400 would be a better choice but considering the price diff of more than 5k it depends ,if you still want to go for turion based laptop i would suggest you go for that compaq model that sells for arnd 40k with the config same as above (except there would be no windows ,anyways who needs 1 nowdays :P )
