Just curious, what is that 3 led fan component as it look like a graphics card but then what it is doing inside a server. Also, is the Dell PERC H710P controller flashed in IT mode which supports JBOD in any OS?

Hello, the 3 led fan is a pc turned into NAS, running truenas natively, and Dell PERC H710P controller is not flashed in IT mode.
That's another computer on the shelf besides a mini PC. Is that a fan pulling air inside on the base? That's a great compact setup, glws!
What're you going to upgrade with if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks man, you are correct its a computer and fan in pulling air inside.

So currently I have 1 pc as NAS, 1 minipc as hypervisor running proxmox which is handling all network related stuff, like PfSense (firewall + load balancer between my two ISP), Adguard (secure DNS server +Adblocker), Nginx (Reverse proxy), wireguard server (VPN), and a NVR(seesh its confidential XD)
and 1 server which is running proxmox for my devops, plus i am practicing some self-hosting, running jellyfin, docker-Portainer, rei3, onlyoffice, trillium notes,etc......

now i am planning for upgrading mobo+cpu of my NAS, adding 3 intel nuc 13 pro running proxmox cluster, and a dell r740xd server for devops and self hosted apps.

Ps i am electrical engineer, not a computer guy, just doing as a hobby.

Have a idea, should i provide some hosting service, if you guys are interested then, i have a 500 mbps up and down redundant internet connection, with redundant power for all, and have around 10 tb of free space.

I hope one day my stuff would be as organised as his. There are others with a rack setup that pop in every now and then.

A private cloud for yourself is always a good idea, being able to access media and files when you're out would be very useful if you're stuck in traffic or in a long queue. Someday I'l figure this out as well, ha.

Hosting for others is not really recommended because of how vindictive our politicians are. One slip up and you're a target. Basically, if a service or account has your KYC info, don't share it with anyone else.

I mean.. I wish my setup would ping me during outages, have a DIY inverter that also notifies when it's charging and discharging, when voltages are low and how much power it consumes. And didn't give me allergies when I breath near it. *sneeze*
