Monitors Dell S2409W 1080p monitor introduced

Dell, known for its desktop PCs and laptops introduces its new S2409W 1080p monitor. The S2409W monitor features a 24-inch and a 16:9 display.

The monitor measures 22.71″ x 8.76″ x 16.38″ with the stand and weighs about 17.82 lbs.

It offers a contrast ratio of 1000:1, 160 degrees horizontal viewing angle and 170° vertical viewing angle.

The S2409W monitor equips HDMI, DVI and VGA ports. It is suggested to retail for $349 (approx Rs.15,588).

Why waste space and resources on all the 3 ports, they could have kept it at just VGA and HDMI.

I had inquired about this from Dell support about a month back and they had no info on this at that time.

Its a 16:9, so pricing seems right. only good for movies and games optimized for 16:9. For general use, you are better off buying the old 16:10
