Hey. I'm looking for a particular Dell keyboard. Don't really have the model number, however I do have a pic of it. I wouldn't mind a second-hand piece but would ideally prefer a new one if anyone can help arrange for it. Thanks!

Dell kb sure looks good but i heard key placements are pretty messed up...Anyway i'm looking for one too :)

Some people on TE had the UK version that was available at Lamington road in limited numbers a couple of years back.

Had rotary volume knob, backlit m/m keys, etc but had 2x USB 1.0 ports onboard.

Not really messed up- just a few characters are interchanged.

I cannot touch-type but still no issues here- some- for those can, no probs at all. :)

2 years old or more, previously owned by a programmer/IT guy and still no issues.

Keys are bouncy and a tad noisier than the cheapo Logi/MS ones i have used- maybe it's mechanical?

stormblast sir was the first one to get it iirc and pretty cheap too. :)

@Rishi: I don't own the one in the pic. I had been to my company's Bombay office and they had these particular keyboards there. Really liked it! Too bad it didn't strike me to flip it over and check for a model number or something! But I managed to take a pic the day before I left. Tried googling for it earlier and saw the multimedia variant you're talking about.

@Audi0slave: Thanks. Will check it out. If the quality is similar to the Dell, wouldn't mind picking up one.

You're welcome Edrill :)

These k'boards are really nice, been using them since 3 years at work. We have the ones with multimedia keys. Feel is pretty mechanical i'd say. Dont feel like typing on a reclusa after 10 hours of intense typing :P

Never ordered, but they look legit and safe. Thinking of buying the same keyboard for myself. Incase if they do turn out to be fakes, 699 is not going to make anyone bankrupt :P

Check em' out ;)
