i'm planning to buy a DELL Vostro V5460 from ShopClues.com for Rs.36699.
Configurations:
Processor i5-3230M processor (2.60GHz L3 3M Cache Up To 3.20 GHz)
Chipset Intel Ivy bridge & HM77
Graphics Nvidia GeForce GT 630M 2GB DDR3
Display Screen 14.0 inch Wide Display HD (1366 x 768) w/anti-glare
Main Memory 4GB DDR3 SO-DIMM AT 1600MHz-1X4GB
Hard Drive 500GB 5400RPM SATA HDD Drive

Plz help me to decide , is it really worth buying this laptop ?
My requirements are mainly portability, light weight and performance.
If there is any alternatives to this laptop plz let me know.

Dude, Just 1 slot for RAM. no USB 3.0, Thai Keyboard, Questionable 1 year International warranty from Thailand.
I would look at other options.

It has 2 USB 3 ports and I enquired dell it is covered under international warranty.

It is excellent VFM laptop IMHO. Light weight and better built than Inspiron 3xxx series. The warranty is honored in India. but the keyboard will have thai characters in addition to English.

Its has the same specs as that of inspiron 3421 texcept the HDD and yet its just 1.5kg...! which is my primary requirement.

630m is pathetic. My friend can't even play fifa at full settings.. The difference between 630m and 650m is that between ground and sky..
