Laptops Dell warranty extension - How much time does it take to reflect on support page?

Hi

I just bought a warranty extension for a Dell laptop. I was given with the transaction code but the warranty is yeto reflect on the Dell support page. The customer support said it'll reflect within 1-2weeks.

Has anyone of you bought a warranty extension? How much time does it take for the warranty information to reflect on the dell's support page?

How does this warranty extension work?

1) can i buy it just before the 1 year warranty ends?

2) can i buy it just after the 1 year warranty ends?

3) will the warranty be considered from date of purchase of laptop?

4) can i buy it just before the 3 year warranty ends(suppose i'd got 3 eyar warranty initially)?

2.yes(but youll have to pay for an engineer visit for the purpose of recertification)

3. No, from the date you purchased your warranty.

4. Yes, but keep in mind that Dell support its systems till five years of the purchase date.
