Laptops DELL Warranty Package Purchase Query !!

Hi team,

I was wondering what is the procedure to buy extended warranty package, My complete cover warranty is about to finish in the month of September, 2009. I was looking to buy 3 year complete cover warranty.

Any members can help for the same with any discounts/freebies ??

Call a Dell rep, get a quote and pay them.

Do it before your warranty expires, as they will astronomically increase the price then.

Is the warranty package otherwise through any dealer as well ??

No, online via the phone only. Call and get a quote if your current warranty is still valid.

Negotiate (make a sob story - student/ hostelite/ scholarship student whatever?) and try for a good discount on top. pay by Credit Card/ Cheque. Warranty confirmation only when the money is credited to Dell.

You can check the status by putting the service tag no. on dell support page, this will show you the start and end dates of your warranty.
