Dell XPS US imported @ 35k.. Advice needed

I am getting a deal for Dell XPS 15.6" with -

Intel i5 2nd Gen 2.3Ghz
4GB DDR3
500GB 7200rpm
Nvidia GT525M 1GB

at 35000.
It has no bill. Can the warranty be transferred using the service tag no.?
 
Last time i checked, Toshiba has a similar config here at 31.5, ie i5 sandy bridge, 4GB, 500 GB 5400 rpm, 15.6, some nvidia GPU 1GB and 1 yr local warranty. That price doesnt seem to be that attractive for a US lappy.
 
Dell warranty is only transferable if it has NBD or any premium warranty. The normal warranty available with the laptop when you buy it from a store is non-transferable to India.

So make sure you buy a premium pack when buying.
