desktop customization

i need to 'pimp my desktop' a bit. so im looking for some sidebar gadgets which would display cpu and ram utilization, temps of cpu and gpu, network monitor etc.
i had a look at samurize, but i dont have the creativity to make my own stuff. so im looking for some easy to use solution. i dont mind if there is something decent for the vista sidebar, but it wont be much customizable so would like another application itself. i dont need very flashy stuff, i prefer elegance, could be a little flashy though.

also can someone point out a place for good icons for objectdock?

Window Sidebar has the best gadgets imo. Yahoo too has some nice widgets. Install them both. There are many desktop customization softwares available but none of them are worth it on windows vista imo. You can install icon packager and cursor FX though. Both add to the bling factor. havent tried yahoo widgets. will give it a look.

i have seen both vista sidebar widget gallery and wincustomize site, couldnt find anything decent. maybe ill have to search more.

dont need the icon packager or cursor fx. im not gonna change any of that, except a couple for objectdock.
