Desperately need a Wireless receiver for my xbox 360 controller

Hello,
I recently bought a xbox 360 wireless controller thinking it would be supplied with a wireless receiver. Now I am stuck with a awesome looking good for nothing xbox 360 wireless controller. I am really interested in getting it working asap. Unfortunately i dont own xbox 360.

Could some one tell me where i can get hold of a USB xbox 360 wireless receiver so i could start using my xbox 360 controller preferably in Hyderabad and its probable price.

Suggest me whether i should return that controller or is it easy to get hold of the wireless receiver coz rumer has it that they are out of stock!

PS - to moderators ; i was not sure where to post this thread but i thought this is the most appropriate place

I think it'll be difficult to find just the wireless receiver here, i suggest you buy the a complete wireless controller + receiver kit.

Then you'll have 2 controllers and you need only one receiver

That is the post that brought me into this forum on the first hand. And i am really glad

Well getting the whole set would be a problem and might prove costly for me coz returning the already opened controller might be difficult to start with and in any case i just want one controller. BTW can you tell me where i can get hold of a "xbox 360 controller and receiver pair" preferably in Hyderabad
