Deus Ex: GAme of year edition.. I lost the box :(

Well I bought the orig Deus Ex: game of the year edition Cdrom (2) a few years back.... now I want to install it on my new PC, but the problem Is that I dont have the box anymore with me.. so I dont have the serial no...

I tried emailing EIDos but they dont support the game anymore....

also I tries many serials/crack sites but ended with getting pesky adwares and s**-wares on my desktop... :@

Now ls there any way / software I can retrieve the serial from the CD rom itself.... Pls help!
 
from what i remember deus ex didn't have a cd key check... or did it?

in any case, your options are either re downloading the game from torrents or some such source, or buying the game again. it's a classic game, so it shouldn't cost too much, but availability might be an issue. in case you can't find a box, it's available on steam for 10$ (400 bucks)
 
boxpack costs 300 bucks

i bought one also coz i could not find a working crack for it anywhere...it doesnt need a key
 
How silly of me not to chck before posting !!!

and I have been lookin for serial for the past 2 days! thanks everyone....

By the way can anyone tell why it sometimes runs at 3 times the speed it should.. I mean the fps???
