I love the music. Cant wait to watch the movie. I really need to watch a good movie soon after the torture of CCTC.

I'm actually surprised SC hasnt watched the movie already and posted a review!!
 
yeah.....i was astonished too......man the movie has got some rave reviews....and Abhay Deols acting is being praised like hell.......:D...cant wait to watch this...movie......:jumpy:
 
Booked ticket for the morning show tommorow for INOX @ 90 bucks:D :D

Apparantly Tarun Adarsh has given this movie a rating of 1/5:ohyeah: Earlier Anurag Kashyap has said that it would take 7 yrs for Adarsh to understand the movie "No Smoking":rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Err....these movies have not got a rating for 5 stars....KKHH got 4 stars I think and K3G got 4.5 stars...
Slumdog got 4 stars:) and Apns DevD got 5 stars...I guess its definitely a watch movie....

Also anyone here seen Paanch made by Kashyap?...this was banned and never reached theatres:(

Pretty OT: But I am pretty sure K3G got 5 stars ... When I saw the rating in the paper and then saw the movie .. I was damn pissed since i didn't like the movie that much...

Hav to see Dev D .. Hope I am not dissappointed....
 
I absolutely loved 'Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye'.

Abhay Deol has finally proven that there are some among the Deol's that also know how to act :)
 
And he picks right movies, his Manorama Six Feed Under was good too

Yes I remember seeing 5 stars too, i would not have remembered if it was 4.5. Anyway after seeing those stars my resolve for not watching the movie got only stronger.
 
Well i did heard that these ratings can be influenced if the newspaper is a media partner/ associated with the movie in some way.

But lets hope thats not the case with this movie. Been a while that a 5 Star movie came along.
 
If company ratings can be fixed, then movie ratings can be done very evry easily...proof of the pudding is in the eating...hope we get some reviews by this evening or tomorrow.
 
Got tickets for tmrw afternoon

On a side note, Taran Adarsh gave a 1.5 rating to Manorama 6 feet unnder, while this is what he has to say for Tara Rum Pum

The son, in fact, picks up leftovers from the waste to satiate his hunger� These are moments that mirror the realities of life.

On the whole, TA RA RUM PUM easily ranks amongst better films from the Yash Raj factory. Surprisingly, the film has opened to a below-the-mark response at several screens. But it has the potential and power to gather speed in days to come since it has something for everyone -- emotional quotient for families, thrilling car races to woo the youth and the kiddie factor to attract this huge movie-going segment [kids]. Its business in Overseas should be excellent and in India, the multiplexes will help the distributors reap a harvest. Strongly recommended!
