btw who is Taran Adarsh that every1 is referring to his reviews????

Taran Adarsh is an A$$hole who is paid heftily by Yashraj films, Karan Johar and Shahrukh Khan to give excellent ratings to their films, irrespective of how they are and on the other hand bash the films that are different from the run of the mill "Tujh me...mujhe me...sab me rab dikhta hai" bull$hit. :@ :@

Sorry for the language...but this guy really pisses me off with his crappy reviews

The whole movie I was praying rab to give darshan and finish the stupid drama. The whole stuff could have been avoided had the groom survived the accident.

I absolutely loved 'Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye'.

Abhay Deol has finally proven that there are some among the Deol's that also know how to act :)

Abhay deol is next naserudin shah of hindi cinema.......

All his films are atleast one time watchable...

ek chalis ki last local,manorama 6 feet under,oye luky...and no dev d

Uhhhhhooo........... I saw this movie first :D

First day, first show @Priya :hap2:

Movie is good and man, Abhay Deol acts like anything. He is superb and so is the girl playing paro. Its just that Chandramukhi lends a few weak movements to the movie rest all's fine and yeah, its a MUST WATCH !

Be warned though, lots n lots of swearing including a dialogue where paro says to her father, "I'm not gonna swallow every other co*k coming my way:

Go ahead and see this movie.

just saw the movie......knockout performances by the cast and a totally whacked out movie.......the bus scenes were awesome :P

^^ LOL Yeah, nice treatment for all the lecture that aunty gave in bus

And i forgot to mention, the ending is awesome !!

Rave reviews are not... I'll be watching this for Abhay Deol. I like him as an actor and I think he picks good movies. Doesn't matter if those were hit or not, I liked his Socha na tha, Manorama and Oye Lucky. At least better that watching craptastic YRF and KJo camp movies.

As for Taran Adarsh, I stopped reading him when he gave out the name of the killer in the review of Sushmita Sen starrer Samay. I mean, really? giving out killer's name for Murder Mystery movie in review? real professional... damn idiot!

looking forward to see this.....Abhay's movies are a must watch ....after ek chalis ki local all his movies have been super....there is something very different in his movies he picks upon...

just came back watching da movie .. !!

and it is awesome .. !! 5 stars or not i dunno ..but the movie is Must watch !

Loved it ..might go again in a day or two ..with another group of friends.:P.

The Music is good ..acting is really very natural (abhay deol especially)

infact abhay is one of the most natural actors ive ever seen :)

the story too is good but the way it unfolds is what i really liked.

Go watch It.:)

Going tomorrow morning..
I hope its good, its been a while since the last good bollywood movie came out

DEV D : 8.5/10

A really coming of age film for the bollywood. I was floored by the sheer honesty of this film. I have never ever seen a film so honest in its approach. The subtle dry humor is so good that talking about it is inevitable. Some scenes might play out after the film and make you laugh for days even, only without offending the intelligence. The Casting is perfect. Abhay Deol is outstanding, Mahi is a natural and Kalki is a great find. I wonder if a director ever before dared to show what testosterone charged young lovers talk on phone like the brilliant “have u touched yourself?” in the starting scene ,couldn’t stop smiling.

By the time the end credits roll, you do not even realize that you have just watched a movie with 18 songs in it. Yes you heard it right .... 18!!! But wait , don't be afraid, the soundtrack is the one of the best I've heard in recent times. It oozes with variety, everything from classical to rock is present in the album. Infact just this one time I would actually go and buy the original audio CD of Dev D, the album deserves it. There is not even a single un-likable number. The picturization of these songs is equally impressive.

They don't make movies like Dev D very often. Watch Dev D in a theater, You owe that much to Anurag Kashyap.
