* don't have any.

- Which hardware will you be keeping (component name - component brand and model)

- Which hardware component are you looking to buy (component name). If you have already decided on a configuration then please mention the (component brand and model) as well, this will help us in fine tuning your requirement.

* CPU - Amd perhaps A10 APU due to budget constraints.
* Motherboard - any compatible motherboard.
* GPU - APU would suffice IMO.
* PSU - A corsair 430 Watt one.
* Do not need a cabinet for now.
* Motherboard should be mAtx.
* decent 500gb+ HDD would work for me.

- Is this going to be your final configuration or you would be adding/upgrading a component in near future. If yes then please mention when and which component

* Yes, will upgrade the following within 6 months
* HDD - A decent ssd.
* Cabinet - a Lian li mid tower.

- Where will you buy this hardware? (Online/City/TE Dealer)

* Monitor has to be 22" at least with non glossy surface with 1080p resolution.

* Strategy - AOE2
* FPS - TF2

Considering that you can avail of rebates, are those going to be factored in?

Secondly, wont it make more sense to go with Intel + adding a GPU later?

I just saw 1080p and did not see the games list! Sorry. An APU is more than enough for your needs!

Why do you think it will be beneficial?
For same money I can buy a and APU with a decent motherboard.

GPU? Not needed at all for my purposes in Near future.
