Well there is nothing wrong in the cabinet or for that matter with the board but DFI is an Enthusiast board which users buy for OC'ing and tweaking.Sonata is a classy cabinet,and according to me you should use it to setup a machine which wont be fiddled with a lot.
Say like a decent Asus Board and an AMD CPU,set it and forget it kinda stuff you know.

DFI is exactly the opposite,the UV reactive slots n all looks neat when you install it in a cabinet with side window and all.

Just my Opinion,technically, DFI can easily fit in a Sonata...

I hvn't used it but I thought Sonata II was a sweet spot. Decent silent cabinet along with a decent psu...

And People with DFI prefer more than a 450 Watts PSU.
 
i wil also suggest Super lanboy coz it looks kool and it doesn't come with a PSU so u can get wat ever u want .......

^^ The SL should be around ~5k. Get atleast an Antec Smart Power 2.0 400W.

Super Lanboy shud be around 5k.
PSU ,well Antec SmartPower 2.0 400Watt is decent enough.

Freaky can u clarify that the Expert boards will be cheaper than the SLI-D or SLI-DR ??

Also is there a special package for TE members ??
 
I spoke to Vinod and he was the one who told me that the Expert will be cheaper and spl. packages to TE Members always stands :)

So I expect the prices to be around the 13k~14k mark and I hope the TE discount is substantial for poor guys like me..:P

The board retails for $200 in USA, btw..
 
Actiually US prices does not matter.

Stuff like mobo, processor can be made available at lower than US pricing if distries actiually wanted to do that. Anish you must be knowing better than some others ;)

The us prices are retail and out distries dont pickup the shipments from US but directly from south asia or taiwan.

And i expect prices of entire range of DFI will go down with next shipment of boards.
 
Hmm. THe current prices are a tide on the higher side.
If it is lowered,then i think the appreciation would be better i guess.As far as India is concerned.
Just my opinion though..

Did you converted the price of the opteron that you paid here in the US$ and then checked it with the newegg or monarch price? ;)
You will be surprised to know how much you paid for your processor considering the price in US$ just check it out.
