This Mothernboard is nothing but a name sake Mobo.

The 100% Aluminium Capacitors, will only Stabalize the Voltages by a "bit".

Its all for the Fancy Packaging, and the pro way they write Venus . Lol.

Its like a good bye product.

Anyways, one dude, on OC Forums, got this too. Dunno if it was the same character.

Do not underestimate the value of capacitors in a high current, powered, electronic circuit.
especially low ESR ones by splitting higher value ones into smaller ones.
after the chipset, the costliest component on the m/b are the capacitors Think about that.

i have a gut feeling that they'll make more of it..even if with another name..but sure there will be another mobo with similar specs and the aluminium capacitors for the masses..DFI wont be fool enough to let go a gr8 ocing mobo like venus into the history books just like that..hyeah:

To tell you the truth, since Venus is a 'Limited edition' mobo,$ 300(around 15k) seems like a pretty normal price, most of the uber ocing mobos on the Nforce 4 SLI are priced in the range of 12k-18k..

So i wudnt have been surprised even if they had quoted this 'Limited Edition' mobo for $400..hyeah:

Think, those rich spoilt nonsensical brats wud have still bought it...
