^^sorry couldnt follow you.I also have a lan to ethernet port.is there by any means i can bridge or share the connections.Or is it only possible through wifi dongle.
 
Unfortunately, you'll need another medium to transmit the connection to your PS3. You have the standard direct LAN cable connection, provided by your cable operator right? I suppose it doesn't involve a modem, but is routed through a bridge installed in your building and the connection is distributed through a LAN cable. In that case, the above guide won't be of much use, since it's for BSNL's setup, which is quite different from what you have. Which ISP do you use?

Sorry i thought it was BSNL. Ethernet switch should do but you have to dial from your PC in that case.

Instead get a El cheapo wireless router for 1k and then dial from the router itself.

This reduces the task of dialing it from PC for use on PS3

Nope thats why i have also asked for an ethernet hub.
