Difference between Rs.98 and Rs.99 AIRTEL internet plan

Okay, on going to *567#, I get to see 2 monthly plans.

1. Rs. 98 GPRS 2GB
2. Internet on Phone Unlimited 1 Month Rs. 99

Whats the difference between these two?

Rs. 1 for a 2GB plan to an unlimited plan? C'mon this cant be...
 
AFAIK Rs.98 plan has a FUP of 2GB vaild for Prepaid customers, while Rs.99 plan is valid for govt/corporate postpaid customers, however even in 99 plan there is a FUP now i guess.
 
^^ You better get the Rs 98 / 2G plan only. If the 99 one is NOP you may not be able to connect to net with phone connected to your laptop
 
Alright, thanks guys. One more thing, do I need to get a new sim for 3G, as I havn't received any notice or message regarding 3G on your phone or anything.

My sim is nearly 3 years old 64k.
 
^^ I dont think you need any new SIM. 3G services will be activated on your current SIM only as and when they do.
 
Its not NOP its full fledged iGprs same as MO bcoz same apn is used as that in prepaid, but just confirm if its FUP of 2GB. Valid only for Govt employees or Corp number Postpaid
 
Let me clear it

Mobile office ... this will also work with laptop

2. Internet on Phone Unlimited 1 Month Rs. 99

this is proxy based, if you connect this connection to laptop..it wont work.

And anyway now plans have changed as 3g plans have been launched.
