Digicam for 12k.

Guys,a friend of mine(girl) needs a digicam for around 12k. Obviously you can understand my dilemma since girls tend to find any device with more than 3 buttons to be complicated.
Any suggestions for simple digicams in that range? I tend to be biased towards Canon.

P.S.: The truth:Consider the simplicity to be priority two. Suggest the most suitable camera as I will be the one,using it most of the time. :devil2:

You can consider canon ixus90IS. Or consider Canon new models sd780IS, i think right now not available in India.
 
Im selling an unused SONY Digicam for 16k if you are very interested i might reduce the pcices. It has been purchased in UK & has never been used.

found out when i did my research a few weeks back. read enough reviews to find out sony has better pic quality. chose canon cuz of the sd card. nikon sucked in most reviews. sony n canon had most positives

if ur budget is higher than go for nikon s710 .

it has 14.5 mp camera

check if its available on ebay with 1000 discount
