Hi my frnd needs to buy a Digicam b4 24thSept since hez gng on some tour....so guys plz help b find the best one....

It should perform well and have amazing photo quality....gng to buy on 22nd mostly...
Second Digicam is for my brother...his budget is 7K....plz suggest a good one for 7k!!!!!!

^^I'm reluctant to sony as it has costly Mem Stick and Litium Ion battery cost more then Ni'Mh battery what canon uses.

using CHDK all the additional indicators and can be viewed on Canon cams.

Also T300 has smaller aperture as compared to Canon Lenses

It's 320$ in newegg, if we go by 60Rs/Dollar then it's 19K

i was eying a 15k range stuff .....on jjmehta its available for 19k...so i think till diwali i can grab my hand on it for ard 15k or max 17k

well 2 yrs warranty of canon u miss that way
