Digicam from US for 200$

Hi,

a friend is coming over from US & i would like to buy a Digicam for my sis for abt 200$ (+ a 1Gb Mem card ~30$ )

Main requirements are:

-Good picture quality in Auto mode

-Image stabilisation

-good optical zoom >= 3X

-Ability to shoot Unrestricted length VGA-Video (to the max capacity of the Mem Card)

-shud use normal AA/AAA batteries or the proprietary batteries shud hav a good life

-Canon/Nikon/Sony preferred !

^^^^ Canon A570IS ( i think i push this so much ppl might think i work for Canon ) But its the best budget cam there is IMHO of course 170$ @ amazon.

take a look at the canon sd1000 for ~$210 on amazon which is more portable n good pics

^^^^@Soulfire..... SD 1000 doesnt have IS. Thats a must in any new camera you buy nowadays Esp if hes giving it to his sis

yeai know im gonna buy a digicam too for the same budget , see the SD700IS ,or the sd800is if u can strech ur budget . good stuff
