i am looking for a Digicam,my budget is 12-15k,
if i will get a good cam i can extend budget to 17 k.. please suggets me agood cam..

I will suggest you go for Canon A590IS. If you want better zoom, go for S3IS(not S5IS - Many reviews suggest that it has more noise than S3IS). Check out prices at jjmehta .com , Digital Camera , Digital SLR , Video Camera , Apple iPod , mobiblu , Sandisk. Even Indiaplaza.in has many digital cameras and they have competitive pricing too.

sx100is : 14.5k with bill and 2 yr warranty, about 11k without bill and warranty

these prices are for mumbai.

i got this camera a month back - only con is it is noisy even at iso 80, 100 and 200

for noise free shots from this cam you need very good lighting.

DOnt mean to barge in but was looking for a camera in the same budget. requirement is 8MP, sleek (as thin as it can get) for around 12-15k. (preferably for 13k max).

any ideas? Also if possible could u list where i can buy the camera. . (croma, online etc).
