Its for 18k, 6k over budget.

Plus SX220 HS is better since its cheaper and the only difference between it and SX230 is GPS.

14490 from ebay plus a coupon with a 1/1.5K limit is a much better deal.

yes ofcourse.. there is no point shelling out the extra bucks for GPS. I know that 220 HS only lacks the GPS and I got 230HS only coz of the unavailability of 220Hs in the market then.

Do go through the reviews first. Do not see just the specs. They lie a lot and good specs does not necessarily mean a better camera.
