digital camera for underwater photography

hi,
anyone know any model suitable for underwater photography.a friend of mine wants one for photography while snorkelling.it should be waterproof to min depth of 5mtrs.any place in india where these r available

bt that can cost as much as the camera or even more in some cases :P
 
my friend is'nt a proffesional photographer. he's in the navy and posted in andaman where they hav quite a lot of free time to go snorkelling etc, so he wanted a cam to shoot photos there
