I'm interested in buying a Digital Media device which plays Full HD content and all the popular digital formats including xvid, avi, mkv, m2ts etc.

The player should have hdmi and component or the red white yellow connections.

I have heard of Asus O! play and WD Live. But I know very little about them.

I would like to buy it under warranty.

Whats the budget ?

Options you have are WD TV Live, Xtreamer, Xtreamer Pro, Play On HD Mini, Play On HD

Check the dealer's paradise section and many dealers on TE are offering some of these.
 
The ACR POHD Mini should be within the budget. Plays everything you throw at it. Do enquire regarding the current market pricing and availability though.
 
yeah go for POHD mini.....i own it and is awesome...it plays every format.....the best part about it is u get 2years warranty...which none of the other players give.

which place are u from???
 
Which ones can pass through Hd audio through HDMI and dts core through optical? and Downmix to normal 5.1 if necessary..

Also play blueray iso's and m2ts files?

I'm from Delhi. Is the warranty an immediate replacement warranty or do they take 15-20 days to get a replacement? Is the warranty global?
 
Guys can any body please list main difference between the play on and the mini ver. Considering damage play on / play on mini are far better then the Xtermer series even with the wireless adapter. What makes the xtremer series costlier ?

We are launching our 1st Media Player by the end of this year...It will solve all your problems - an all in one device :)

DTS HD MA can downmix to 5.1 and deliver it via optical/coaxial out. The player is not coming into picture here. POHD Mini used to be around 7.7k odd. There was a thread in the Hot Deals section. Do check out that.

Guys I'm also in same dilema , confused between xtreamer n playon hd ... Playon hd seems better but what about its availability ?

Figured some difference between the various player, three strong contenders seems to be Play on!
PlayonMini and Xtremer pro or so to say popular.

Now my worry is there seems to be a problem with speed while downloading torrents directly using these HD Media players. any body here would like to add ?
 
Is the zinwell 5005 hd available in india?

xtreamer is too expensive. play on hd / mini seem like good options. What about the warranty for all these players, in India?

Are they replaced immediately or does it take 15-20 days? Do any of these players carry global warranty?
 
well about global warranty i dunno.....but play on HD guys said they replace the product within 8wrkin days.
