Digital Voice Recorder

HI guys,

As the topic says, Im lookin to buy a digital voice recorder for my dad. The only one I know of are from sony costing between 5 and 8k. Have any of you bought one for a more affordable price in Blore? Or are there any other brands which I could possibly buy here? Thx in advance for ur help n suggestions
 
davies seen some 256mb unbranded ones for 1800-2000. The professional ones which support 8-10 hours of voice recording 4000-6000
