Diploma from Electronics to Degree in Computer Science possible?

Hi

I have completed my Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication.

I have to do degree, and i want to do degree in Computer Science.

Diploma students gets 2nd year direct admissions in degree.

So want to know if switch from Electronics in Diploma to C.S in Degree is possible?

No. Possible only if seats are vacant in that dept after the whole admissions process gets over. Atleast this is what used to happen in mumbai university
 
In Goa its possible i think xcept for mech u can choose any of the three streams IT,COMP or ECS , there is a CET seperately held for diploma grads
 
In Karnataka there is a CET exam, in which if you get good rank in you can get a seat in a decent college. While I was in 2nd year BE I had a few students from diploma join our class.
 
yes people with diploma in ECE can join CSE in B.Tech.Know from personal experience.

Plus, here in haryana there are seats reserved for diploma students and they can fill those seats in the second year.
