What's special about the feb2006 release as compared to the older releases of 9.0c?

Lol, Microsoft follows a new approach these days, they do not give the details on changes, fixes etc, They just say directx december build, feb build and so on. They they dont even change the version number.

They either forget the changes they have made or the list is so long that it is better not printed ;)

Nothing -- these monthlies are among some of the most useless updates. a handful of files had their date changed, while v.# & size remained the same.
lol...i think theres no point downloading the update if u already have a good working directX 9c installed.

y the hell do you have to bother, if you already have running copies of xp sp2(original ofcourse:P ) your updates will come to you automatically, through auto update, why all the fuss abt getting it separately and all?

Are you sure your directx is updated automatically thru' windows update, also on the same note can you tell us on how would you distinguish between the december and feb versions or how do you make sure you have the latest versions ;)

Another brilliant point dip, if microsoft dosent even consider renaming the version to 9.0c&1/2, theres no real reason to do it. Just a way to justify those eployees at microsoft to keep drawing out their fat cheques.:ohyeah:
