Your LINK To the lowest price... namely Delta in Chennai has still not replied... and please read your own post about the "trademark statement" THAT was got tempers flaring... generalising without adequate information.

Newegg is just a benchmark to go by... that was why it was posted.
 
Bottom line, the IT Hardware industry has wafer thin margins, worldwide. For any Distributor/Retailer to survive, at least the business model needs to cover overheads!!!

I dont belive the distris here have wafer thin margins ! Infact India may be the 1st country in hardware stuff where distris have more margin than retailers/dealers !! And you guys are happy with whatever they give u ! Thats the whole point. I am telling again and again

DEalers are nit the ones who are to blame here but the same old distris who have been ruling for a decade. First their old generation fathers, sons also continue in same way :rofl:..I know I am gng a bit too much....but good if they r seeing this :P

same way....i wud like to mention the mx310 mice is gettin rare nowadays...dunno wts wrng, production stopped(wonder y?)...or the distris jus hav loadz of mx518 that they deny to distribute the mx310 among the retailers:S...
wen i tried to start a GO....even if they had old stock of mx518 which they got for around mere 700-800(not sure) n wer sellin it for 1k odd, denied to giv it at tht old price..n quoted current retail price....now look at the prices of mx518 rangin frm 1.2k to whopping 1.7k(quoted by dealers locally).
Guess not all buyers are conscious about distris n manufacturing date n misc...n finally those old stock will get sold nywayz for wteva prevalant market prices.:@

Supra you never know..These guys blame the distris and we never know wat the distri's will say...This is a yo-yo game by which they entangle end purchasers..

Now they are saying dollar increase, when dollar wil fall to normal prices, you'l see these same prices..:lol:
Frankly, if you are increasing prices, MAN up and say that..
No one wants you guys to loose your bread and butter, but for god's sake dont take the end buyers as total fools and use stupid excuses to hike prices to absurd levels..
 
Lol who knows, maybe the disties and retailers are teaming up and screwing up the customers!

How can u even say this even without knowing man ? Come to this side of the field and u will find that the grass isn't greener too. Ask Rahul or TTSG , and ull have your mouths hanging open when u hear what margins we get , and even after the effort we put in , this is what we get. On the one side we agree to most of your opinions when it comes to the current Pricing strategies ,ask Supra , we had a long chat on this topic today, but i beg to differ when u start blaming us for anything. i like the way you thank us.
 
yes sudhir is right .dealers from TE really provide the fantastic rates and have really very low margin of profit .thats the reason peoples from lammy like Gulbir from Prime have some enimity with our TE dealers . :P
i think that dealer knows to whom have i pointed :P
 
We shouldn't doubt our dealers at all. They always fight and get the best for us :)....but its the distris who is ripping us :(....if only we could have a clout of more dealers so that we can teach those rippers a lesson :P
 
Haha , as i had said Supra , you are asking for Eden , and its possibility is very very remote. But all we can do is try isn't it ?

@SunnyBoi : As for us teaming up with others to RIP you OFF , just talk to one of my previous customers and ask them if i have ever kept the phone down before 20-30minutes , explaining in every detail the items they are purchasing/ought to purchase , even if i am not the one they should purchase from.My phone bill runs into 4-5k a month , sometimes exceeding what i have earned , but i still do it , not for my bread , but because its my passion. These guys will tell you how i deal with my customers. So please think twice before you start blaming us again.
 
@Phoenix - mate, the intention of me making the 1st post, which had started this huge (in a way - good) discussion was NOT to blame the TE Dealers..

We all know how good a job you guys do at TE and almost all deals are better than the best retail ones, plus you all provide good feedback/communication and help until it reaches the buyers...Kudos to that :clap:

But the main crux of the discussion or rather my post was the lame reason given by the other dealer citing increase in dollar prices caused it...If it had been an increase with all comps/all distris, no one would have disputed it. But it sounds like some DISTRI, i repeat SOME DISTRI trying to make this a nice opportunity to inflate the prices

If Newwgg is taken as indicator, it should be in both directions, UP and DOWN

Delta also sells from Tirupati distri on Corsairs, their CM is only from TopNotch

So, price increase reflection was obvious
