Video DishTV:improving signal quality

hi,

I had installed Dishtv last month. the signal strength for most channels is around 70%. the installation persons said that this is the best that can be achieved.

Is it true? is there a way to increase the signal reception strength?

nope - signal strength depends on the transponder and your geographical location.

if the satellite is old (like more than 5yrs) then transponder would give out around 50-70% signal strength compared to new satellite.

geographical location comes in picture only if you are in an area where the satellites footprint is weak.
