I'm trying to get this game working properly... but somehow despite all my efforts I still get these graphical corruptions... :@

I've tried all the nvidia drivers since 169.02 for the 8800GT and even tried the '-ll' trick...but no luck :(

Can somebody help me out with a solution for this

I can notice the corruption in the first pic on the wall. But I closely observed at the rest of the 3 but couldn't find any major corruptions. The last time I tried this game on my 7900GT it worked fine without any corruptions.Driver version was 93.71 if I am not mistaken.

Sorry for the OT,but can we adjust the resolution to support 1440X900 in this game. Iam able to choose a max res of only 1024X768 in 4:3 mode. How to select a 16:10 or 16:9 mode if possible?

as mentioned above ,i too can see the corruption in the first pic only , maybe the others are too dark.

For me DA produced no problems except the C2D bugs. try using only HDR or AA , not both. I guess u would have patched it already , if not , patch it to teh 1.02 version. Lemme know if it helps

hmm , i think the options were available in the menu itself , i played on 1680x1050 , u too can try the patch

^^ Dudes... the graphical corruption in the all the pics is clearly visible...

The problem here is that... I can see all the lights through objects and buildings...

For me I used to get corruption with my X1900XT and X1800XT. No corruption noticed on the 8800GTX. Try newer drivers, and also do a DX9 reinstall. I assume you're on XP??

Cause I never tried the game on Vista

^^Phoenix is right. Res options in video settings menu. Not available while playing the game. You need to be in the main menu.

So in the last pic , the lights on the roof just below you are actually indoor tubes? hmmm , the game is full of bugs , but i never faced the display corruption on my card.......either on my previous 8600GT or my current 8800GT , wherehas my friend had the invisible/corrupted sam problem on his 8600GT , and he had to use the -ll and the AA editing crap....

Try the patch , try playing with the graphical settings a bit , maybe turning something off might help.

man the game runs better in vista with less corruptions. try the latest 175 drivers.why dont u decrease the resolution and run in with out AA

I've tried the game at different resolutions and various different graphical settings... still the same problem persists...

Would Vista solve these problems??

The only reason I don't like Vista is coz my overclocks are not stable... While in XP I can take the CPU till 3.4Ghz... In Vista I get BSOD's at even 3Ghz... :@

i guess Vista might help , i tried the game on Vista only , on 2 Pcs, one mine and one my friends , it worked great. My friend with the display problem used XP i guess.

Try turning off AA if it's enabled. It's known to cause such problems in poorly coded games like SC:DA.

Also ditch Double Agent and play Chaos Theory for a much better Splinter Cell experience.

The game was a crappy port :@

No amount of fixing tweaking makes it better. there will always be something that goes wrong

For me Options never saved. the game is just plain unplayable.

lol , finished it twice at the best possible settings......maybe Vista supports it better heh ? :P and we always b33tch about why you shouldn't game on Vista

Is this the same card that you bios flashed to 9800gt?? Maybe there's some sort of side effect or something.

Yes... It's the same card... however the problem was there even when the card was a 8800GT...

AA is already turned off... and I've already played Chaos Theory almost 10 times now...

Maybe I'll switch to Vista... should I go for 64bit or the 32bit (since I got 4gb ram)
