Display resolution problem

Hi guys ,

I m using acer d250 aspire one netbook.

The screen resolution of my netbook is 1024*600.
The main problem is whenever i play any video which is 1024*800 (standard).
I feel very uncomfortable as bottom part of most of application ,videos goes below screen.

Please suggest .Even downloading latest VGA drivers for windows 7 didnt help.

remove the vga drivers completely first(using driversweeper etc),Restart windows then reinstall the graphic drivers from the respective manufacture site (AMD/nVidia/Intel etc)....
reprt back :D

This is normal, your display resolution is less then the resolution of the video, so when the media player opens up the video goes below the screen, just maximize the media player windows and it will automatically switch to your screen resolution.

Which media player are you using?
Open the video in Media Player Classic > View menu > Video Frame > select Touch window from inside.

If that doesn't auto-fit the video inside your screen, then use the 1 and 9 keys on the numeric pad to increase/decrease the videos' size.

I use KMplayer, find it to be really versatile. You can adjust the screen in it, by using the numpad...
Thanks but all this related to video playback . Most of the time i find it hard to view some of applications which are 1024*800 resolution in size. What can be done for them.

Is acer not considering the same while manufacturing the box?:@

Media Player classic also supports, you can go for that too;)

My question still unanswered

Those are the cons of a low res screen, for videos you can do autofit,as suggested above.

It is similair situation for a mobile to preview large documents.
