I had been using a Dlink 605L router since the last 6 months at my home on Fivenet broadband. A few days ago the router got reset by itself. My cable guy and myself have tried putting the settings again several times, tried reset, mac rest etc but the router just won't connect to the internet. I even got the router replaced from Dlink as it was under warranty but even the new one won't connect.
My cable guy put a Netgear router and it works fine with the same settings. He says the Dlink firmware has an issue with FiveNet isp and I will have to buy a new router. Any suggestions on how to change the PPPoe settings to get this to work?
