Suppose we create a Standard Primary Zone EXAMPLE.COM on a windows 2003 srvr named SRVR1 , and we enable Secure and nonSecure Dynamic Updates .
We also create two manual HOST A RR,s ...
1) HOST A ... Example.com ... 172.16.1.1
2) HOST A ... srvr1.example.com ... 17.16.1.1

and when a Domain Client wud try its DNS Registration it wud fail ....
( via System Specific DNS Suffix or Connection Specific DNS Suffix )

untill and unless we add PRIMARY DOMAIN Suffix EXAMPLE.COM on the SRVR1 system properties ...
once added it starts accepting DDNS registrations .....
Why is this behavior followed by windows DNS srvr ....
