I think this should be in Chatterbits Section ....... also add an extra option of a Hardcore Cheater(Using Chits, writing on pad,palm,etc...)

Hardcore Cheater(Using Chits,writing on pad,palm,etc...)

Talk abt importin a calc from US to store all the physics, chem & trig formulas to help me in the exams.....:D
chits , writing on pads, benches, hands, boxes, carrying mini books, & for computer lab exams i used to take my USB drive.;)
altough i never get caught :ohyeah:

@knoughtyd: lol speaking in experience eh??:P,

anyway.. i most of the time avoid copying coz i am lazy to copy:P and i am pretty much sure i will be caught if try to.

There are different levels of copying.
Hardcore- Bits, written stuff,etc
er..Softcore(?) - Exchanging papers in the exam
Semi-softcore - Just peeking over the shoulder of someone in your proximity/trying to mouth the words..

Personally, i've never copied at school(if you study well theres no need). i've tried to help out others if i could (too scared actually).
In college (for unit tests), initially, the pressure was too much (to copy), because of portions not being taught properly so you could at max just-pass an exam. Then we found out most of our staff dont even touch our papers and just awarded marks at random. So no NEED for copying/cheating.
For the semester exams, my class has always written ours at the "Engg. Drawing Hall" on drawing tables and almost 1.5 metres distance from anyone near you. So no one does anything anyway (but the Hardcore guys still carry out their operations).

Theres this funny incident that happened in one final exam. A boy in my class was caught with a bit. the prof who caught him was a nice guy who'd just discard the bit and let the person continue the exam. But this time he sent the boy out. Later when we asked the boy why, turns out the prof found his "master-bit" i.e., where the OTHER pieces of paper were located in his pockets!! Hilarious..

(Sorry for the long post.... i guess i should start a blog or something..)

Ya Im experinced.....

Actually I was a hardcore cheat during my 11th & 12th(Not in Board...Only peeping)....But not now.....:hap5:

I used to make very small chits with every line covered with answers,diagrams,etc....

It was I actually who started the chit revolution:rofl: in my class .......and it spread like a wild fire till my 12th started......

But I was never caught even when I used to cheat frm the first bench....coz nobody could make it if I was cheating.....

But my frnds used to get caught occassionaly.....

For Everyone in My Class I was the :hap2: "KING of the Cheats":hap2:

lol .. i am a hardcore cheater .. lol talk bout getting a pen with invisible ink (it has a light something like a uv light on its cap and u can see the writing only under that uv light.. and i write all answers conveniently on my geometry box surface and cheat to the max.. my geomety box is also pasted with a new clean paper each time for every xam ... and when teachers ask why i have pasted a paper on the insides of my box .. i am like "mam it is to hide the formulae written behind" ... ROFL...)

btw i have my xam today .. hehe .. and i am going to cheat again.

and ya i have good experience in getting papers leaked ... doing this frm the 9th std u see.

Dude this is as hardcore as it gets for me. I have done paper bits, writing on my palms, shouting formulae across the room, passing eraser with stuff written on it. But all this when I'm not sure if ill pass or if I cant remember some important formulae even after writing it 100 times.

That was all in school. Wont even get a chance after that even if i wanted to.
However I never cheated in my boards finals coz then I used to study. Oh those wonderful days.

You elite cheat.

Never cheated. And all you sinners should be smote down from the heavens. You all deserve to have OBC reservations imposed on you. WTF is the merit in cheating???

Never cheated in any exam.

Cheating is like stealing. Once a cheat always a cheat. Besides, whats wrong in getting the marks you deserve? If you study hard enough you will atleast pass. Yes, I too agree with KingKrool, cheaters make the effort of those ppl who dont cheat look bland. While those attempting the paper in true spirits without cheating get those marks by their own efforts, things like selective studies, exchange of chits, shouting in rooms etc is totally unethical and though it does get some extra marks to the ppl cheating, it is not your true effort.

Whats the use of cheating? Getting a few extra marks? And then looking back at your life when you grow old and thinking that "I Was a Cheat". I dont think i can live with that.

Oh and i forgot to mention...i never did help anyone else either.

Is it? so can I say this..
Stealing is like cheating. Once a thief always a thief.
Now temme how many songs or softwares do you have on your computer which are legit. You do know piracy is stealing too.
So it is equivalent to cheating. Makes us brothers in arms.

I can live with that coz I dont think that much. :P

Dudes, i'm not condoning cheating, but the entire education/examination system needs to be changed. If you force children to mug up and vomit at exams, many WILL cheat, because they just arent made for such stuff.

Hell even in Maths, when i studied under state board, marks were awarded based on the final ans and NOT in the procedures. Tell me, if i wrote the wrong procedure, but the "right" answer and am awarded full marks, is it cheating?

On a semi-related note, in a practical exam a sem back, NONE of the equipments worked. All of us were forced to "make up" values for the exp. Now is that cheating? [maybe we shouldnt go into specifics now..]

NEVER!
not enough courage to take cheating papers to exam hall.
cudn't trust anyone else telling me correct answers.
also, its morally wrong!

the first time i ever did copy was in my 12th boards!! and that`s why passed..

copied the last sem too.. came to class early and write stuff on the benches.. (main points) really helped :bleh:

Hmm...maybe...but the topic here says that "Do/Did you ever cheat in ur exams?" my reply is directly in response to that. Never did i say we aint brothers:P
Dont you remember the Pledge u took in school.....it went something like this..."India is my country, and all Indians are my Brothers and Sisters....."

So irrespective of it, we are brothers in arms or without:bleh:

Anyways, the point here is regarding cheating only.

But as I said, it makes what the OBCs say valid. They can't afford to cheat with UV pens, and imported calculators. Remember that the next time you start whining about reservations. One thing about cheating, it usually does no good. Because the fact is, it doesn't matter that I got 6% more than everyone else in 12th standard. Today, most of them are in a similar position. So take the long term into account. When you grow up, and your children get caught cheating, think about how you will feel.

Ofcourse ive cheated in exams :ohyeah:.

I got caught in my 2nd Units of 11th. (Only time)

Proffessor said "Agar copy karna hai to theek se kar, otherwise theres not need to copy!" "Copy Properly!".

I was like :O :O :O.
Wth :/.

This thread brings back old memories of school. I hated sanskrit back then (still do). There was an English exam I think a day before Sanskrit. I took an extra sheet for English but did not fill it up, left it in my desk. After the exam, I took the sheet home. There was this very important essay on Mahatma Gandhi that our teacher told would come in the exam. So I wrote that Essay on the extra sheet, went early to school next day, put it in my desk. And during the Sanskrit exam, just pulled it out of my desk, and stapled it :D.

Planned to perfection :ohyeah:
