I have a windows Home premium 32 Bit. I can also change to 64 Bit version. But i was confused whether games such as Spiderman Friend & For, Crysis, Call of Duty World at war etc. would play fine.

Also are there any improvements when upgrading to 64 Bit?

Crysis plays fine. Infact Crysis has its own 64bit exe. Im using Vista 64 with my Gaming+HTPC, haven't run into any problems yet.

yup compatibility issues are mostly relegated to the past now. although you will still find the odd case where there are problems... for example, if you use the gametap service, there is no 64 bit client support for it. but other than these kinds of rare cases, everything works fine.

vista 64 bit has not given me big problems in games. i fiddle with 'run as admin' mode and change between DX9 or DX10 if an issue crops up and the game will do fine... (ex. crysis warhead runs well in DX9 mode, bt, hangs a lot in DX10 mode)....

Well there is no issue running games on a x64 based OS like Vista 64-bit, the only thing u have to keep in mind is the amount of RAM available as 64-bit Vista consumes more memory then a 32-bit one and games work fine on both as long as all of their requirements are fulfilled.
