1) It's GDDR5
2) VRAM clock is same as that of 4870 (3.6GHz)
3) Core clock is just 50MHz lower than that of 4870 (this is 700MHz, 4870 is 750MHz)

Considering that the only difference till date between the 4850 and 4870 was GDDR5 and core clock, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to say that this card will approach the 4870's performance. Also the 4870 is approximately priced @15k with most dealers, so it would make this card an excellent alternative to the 4870 IMO.

lol 4870 512MB GDDR5 is at 150$ MSRP now....so these things wont get any buyers . ....you can convey this to the ppl who imported these babies. Otherwise @ this price they will be orphaned :rofl:
