This! I too do similar, only major difference is instead of bitdefender I use Kaspersky.

I've been using avast from win xp era, later used kaspersky, quickheal in windows 7.
After win10 and now win11, there was no need of any 3rd party antivirus.

I use Malwarebytes free version occasionally.

ESET Antivirus paid on 2 low end machines and ESET Internet Security on another two. Got 2 year - 2 device licenses for cheap on amazon in October 2023.

I need them to ensure online payments security. I do quite a few online banking transactions. Never relied on Microsoft Defender.
