I think yes.

It ll lend some sanity and maybe it ll be the best amusing section afterall.

Edit: If by non tech deals you mean providers posting deals like non stick cookwares.. then def no.
 
Yes and maybe if it isn't too much to ask, a separate sub-forum for non-tech hot deals NOT under the Market section.

Think of it as a rhetorical question because it is that difficult to answer. We do have deals posted which sell Lux soaps and Toothpaste.
 
Ok when I said market section, I meant the entire Trade Zone.

So you mean two subforums, one for non-tech FS and one for non-tech Deals.

Yea. Lot of articles which one cannot place on either side of 'the line'

A good deal on sunglasses or glucometer will be picked up instantly.. same with a tool kit.. but def not sewing kits and cookwares (not being sexist here)
 
Voted for option 3. It would be better if it came with a restriction though - all new threads in the non-tech deals/FS section will come under permanent moderation and will be visible only after approval.

The question is confusing. I thought you meant non-tech items being sold by members in the market section. I would strongly suggest not to allow that and let the marketplace deal with only tech items.

As for non tech deals in hot deals and discussions, you could maybe shift those threads in General talk or something. Creating a whole different sub forum is really not needed. Plus I think it's better to restrict these things to a thread or 2 at the most.

Second that !!

Please keep non-tech (sunglasses, shoes, watches and what not) things off the TE member's market.

As for non-tech hot deals, the current single thread (ala the eBay thread) should be enough. It definitely doesn't warrant a separate sub-forum/individual threads/shift to GT!!
 
Please do not allow sale of non-tech items by members, as for the deals I don't think we need a separate sub-forum for that. We already have a thread dedicated to it and I think that's enough.
