Graphic Cards Do we need Original bill for RMAing GPU?

Should I get a original bill to get RMA of the card....I have a soft copy....I can get it printed of course. And I do have box etc....

Any Experience with aditya infotech bangalore would be welcome
 
Most cards are accepted for RMA on the basis of the sticker on the card and sometimes on the box. A copy of the bill can be availed from the dealer should the need arise. :p
 
depends upon brand/distributor.

if the warranty is based on serial number only then no bill required.

generally date of purchase and date of serial registration have gap of months..

suppose you buy an asus board with 3yr warranty... on feb'07 and the serial( date of import) at Rashi is registered at Aug'06 ... then to avail warranty for the board you will not require bill till Aug'09.

But incase if you go to rma between Aug'09 and Feb'10 ...then they will not entertain you without proof of purchase.
