Ok so i guess everyone here who is owning an android device has lots of apps installed on them. These apps range from simple alarm clocks to something which makes coffee for us (ok i am exaggerating). But the fact remains that i feel we never care to read the apps' permissions. This can actually turn around on us seeing how vulnerable this OS is because of its open nature.
I got this question in mind when i was going through android police and they mentioned about an Angry birds update which had permissions to send SMS :O
Now why would this game which does not require any sort of registration need SMS access ???
Later on it was confirmed from the developers that it was a mistake on their part and the same will be rectified in future updates.
