Hi guys,

This is the very lovable Dobby from Harry Potter. Hope you guys like it and critique from all the experienced artists is welcome. The character model is downloaded. I have done the lighting and compositing.

Techniques & Softwares used:
Rendered passes in Maya and composited them in Fusion using the light source in the BG as reference. Then composed the character and BG in Photoshop and finally blurred and blended the image using Picasa!

nice but there are places where you need to work on. Playing with specularity in certain places (his facial wrinkles etc) can make it look a bit more realistic. nevertheless good job

Even I am also not an artist but did liked it...

as a view it attracted me..

but why softness near the hands??
 
Nice work. But as said by others, there are some places where you need to work on, like near the hands.

I used the blur tool in picasa as a quick alternative to create depth of field in the image to focus on his face and upper body but I guess it backfired and shifted the focus to his hands, I'll work on it :)
