Does Airtel BB take 30 days to uninstall?

I am looking to change from Airtel BB to You tele.
When i enquired on CC, the Airtel guy said that it would take atleast 30 days for disconnection. Because of all the digging etc.

Does that mean i would have to wait for 1 month before moving on to YouTele?:huh: :huh: :huh:

^ jus call those freak head ask them to send a techie right now take your stuff away else u wont return back their modem and stuff away , neither would pay the bills. they are simply forcing you to pay one more months rent thats it.

lol... it doesnt take 30 days.... Its some BS rule of Airtel that even when you disconnect you get to keep the phone line for 30 days.... If u use it you will be charged...

Its more or less like they complete a bill cycle to ease out their work

hey dude........take my advice.....you tele is the most f****ed up ISP in mumbai......no reasonable unlimited plans........u need a modem...no LAN service......

I got my bsnl a few days back. Called up airtel CC on monday to tell them to cancel my connection. He asked me when did i want it disconnected and i told him i wanted it done today..4 hrs (or less) later.. its disconnected

Im really surprised they are telling you to wait a month.. Try calling them again and do tel them you wont pay the bill if they tell you to wait a month.
