Hey guys those of you who use windows 7 can pls tell me which broadband are u guys using & also are u using the 32bit or the 64bit version...

I am using the 64bit version & my cable guy(pace net) says that there software wont work in win7... the tata guys have also said the same thing..

So can anyone tell me how to get around this problem...

I can change my net to any of these..

Tata , mtnl , Airtel , Relaince , bsnl....

yes most will work.

Those work in vista will work in 7..

64bit app doesn't work in 32 bit... but in 64 bit both works.

Pacenet is beleive has dialer..

You can create your own dialer and try your pacenet id and password and it works fine

:D

I am using Windows 7 64bit

Does Pace net use PPPOE connection?

If yes

Go to Network and Internet connections-
Create a new connection
Select "Connect to Internet"
Select "Setup my connection manually"
Than Select "Connect using Broadband connection which requires user name and password"

Type name of your ISP and and type user user name and password and you are all set

:D

BLeh broadband softwares are all farce ! Evry broadband should work regardless of the OS installed.

Tell them not to install their software and just configure a dialer !
